As part of Watford Town Centre BID’s service, our team member Jeremy collects & recycles cardboard from small businesses in Watford Town Centre! The service comes at no additional cost to them and was introduced as an initiative to save local businesses’ money, whilst also being proactively sustainable.
Jeremy collects cardboard on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday every week, with 24 businesses already signed up. We are proud to have collected 26 cages of cardboard a month since we launched the pilot scheme earlier in the year. We are now delighted to unveil our fully Watford Town Centre branded electric vehicle that is used to get around the local area before returning to its home in Atria Watford’s basement, where the cardboard is unloaded.
