Visit Watford high street this bank holiday for a family-fun maths and history scavenger hunt around Watford Town Centre.

There are five colourful, Watford-themed floormats that have been placed around Watford Town Centre and grabbing locals’ attention.  They represent pieces of a wider puzzle for children aged 3-11 to solve and rise up the local leaderboard of scavenger hunt geniuses!

Not only do the floormats provide a colourful backdrop to our town and teach school-aged children about Watford’s history and future, they can also use a smartphone to scan the floormats and unveil entertaining maths questions to be solved.

Once the maths questions are solved at one floormat tile, clues will be given for the young adventurers to find the other floormats and conquer whatever numerical problems they encounter along the way!

Simply start by visiting one of the floormats and downloading the app.  Use the image as a location clue for the first floormat to get you started. Bring your friends, compete for amazing prizes and make maths fun for your kids this bank holiday.
