Watford Town Centre BID’s annual floral displays returned to the town in June, ready to blossom throughout summer 2024.

For the ninth year running, Watford Town Centre Business Improvement District (BID) businesses have funded floral displays that will provide a wonderful array of summer colours as they bloom over the coming weeks and months.

Made up of a beautiful display of white, pink and red shades of flowers, the displays will be in place throughout the summer. This year, Watford Town Centre BID has appointed Amethyst Horticulture to provide the floral displays. Amethyst Horticulture is a well-renowned horticultural contractor in the placemaking industry, with distributors in North America and Europe.

Watford Town Centre users will be able to enjoy a greener walk along Watford High Street and The Parade, with dozens of large planters adding vibrancy and colour.  The beautiful barrier baskets decorating our iconic bridge going over the pond are a particular highlight for users to see.

Kara Mesiano, Watford Town Centre BID manager, said: “Through their funding, our businesses have once again shown their commitment to ensuring Watford has a wonderful look & feel for residents, visitors, and employees to admire. It is important for the reputation of our town that we offer a welcoming, attractive environment that enhances people’s perception of Watford as a great place to visit, work, and live.”

The project is just one element of Watford Town Centre BID’s work to provide additionality above & beyond the services provided by local authorities.  Visit www.watfordtowncentre.com and follow @WatfordTownCentre on social media to find out more about the range of projects & services provided by the BID team, funded by over 400 businesses that make up the Watford Town Centre area.
