2. Stay Safe
 
Hydration
 
All members of the public, staff and volunteers are encouraged to stay hydrated throughout the day, particularly during periods of warm weather.
 
Hot Weather Advice
 
Please wear sunscreen, seek shade where possible, wear suitable clothing and check on children, older relatives and vulnerable people throughout the day.
 
Welfare
 
A dedicated Welfare Unit, staffed by two first aid trained specialists, will be located adjacent to the pond on The Parade, near Nationwide.
 
Lost Children & Lost Property
 
Anyone requiring assistance, including lost children or lost property enquiries, should report to the Welfare Unit or the Hertfordshire Police Engagement Stall.
 
Security
 
Uniformed security officers, event stewards and Hertfordshire Police will be present throughout the event. Please follow any instructions they provide.
 
Emergency Procedures
 
In the event of an emergency, remain calm and follow instructions from event staff or emergency services.
 
Accessibility
 
The event is free to attend and takes place within Watford’s pedestrianised town centre. Visitors requiring assistance should speak to a steward or visit the Welfare Unit.
 
Families
 
Children should always be supervised by a responsible adult.

 
3. Enjoy Responsibly
 
Drinks Service
 
Last orders at the outdoor bars will be at 9:30pm.
 
Alcoholic drinks are strictly prohibited on The Parade’s public spaces after 10:00pm.
 
Please drink responsibly, stay hydrated and look after your friends. Free drinking water is available from participating venues upon request.
 
Behaviour
 
Please be respectful of fellow visitors, local businesses and nearby residents.
Any abusive, threatening or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event area.
 
Recycling & Keeping Watford Tidy
 
Please return plastic cups to the venue’s recycling points and use the bins provided to help keep Watford town centre clean and tidy.

 
4. Football Information
 
FIFA Men’s World Cup Screenings
 
There are no outdoor screenings of FIFA World Cup matches on Saturday 27 June 2026.
 
Football fans are encouraged to support Watford’s many bars, pubs and hospitality venues that will be screening the matches throughout the day.
 
Should England reach the FIFA Men’s World Cup Final, Watford Town Centre BID will explore the feasibility of hosting a large outdoor screening in Watford.

 
5. Support Local
 
Watford’s shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs and businesses remain open throughout the event.
 
Visitors are encouraged to explore the town centre and support local businesses during their visit.
