Saturday 11 October and Sunday 12 October 2025 saw a spectacular weekend of colour, culture, music, dance, food and fun creating a wonderful atmosphere in Watford Town Centre.

Watford Town Centre community partners including P2M, World Council of Hindus UK, Watford Town Centre BID, Watford Palace Theatre, Salters Residential, Harlequin Watford, P2M Properties, Watford Pump House, Watford Indian Association, School of Bhakti, Museum of Watford, Spiritual Republik and Bhaktivedanta Manor.
The Pump House Theatre and Arts Centre, Watford Palace Theatre and Harlequin Watford all hosted creative workshops, exhibitions, dazzling performances that attracted thousands of visitors from the local area and beyond. There were spectacular performances that attracted crowds including Bharat Natyam by Navya School of Dance and guests from Bhaktivedanta Manor.
Watford Diwali: Festival of Lights included a busy parade from Charter Place up to the pond on Saturday 11 October evening, culminating in free live entertainment and the stunning Diwali Lights Switch-On. Throughout the weekend, Watford high street and The Parade’s LED twinkly tree lights were lit in iconic Diwali colours to mark the occasion.
A huge thank you to Watford Town Centre’s community partners for their support in bringing Diwali celebrations to the town this year. Thanks to their involvement, residents and visitors can look forward to enjoying performances, activities, food and culture that celebrate the richness of Watford’s diverse community.
Watford Town Centre’s LED twinkly tree lights will be lit up on Monday 20 October throughout the evening, make sure to come along to witness them!
