Carol and Sophie have been proud owners of Hairconnections by Andrea of Wembley in Watford Town Centre for over 40 years, and this week they celebrated 10 years of calling 1 Market Street home to their fantastic hair salon.
Having previously been based in the old Charter Place since 1977, Carol and Sophie moved to their ever-improving new hair salon at no. 1 Market Street back in 2014. They wanted to celebrate the salon’s 10th birthday with a lovely gathering to say thank you to all of their dedicated staff as well as their loyal customers – some of whom have been visiting Hairconnections for generations!
Carol Andrea, co-owner of the salon, said: “We decided to celebrate our 10-year anniversary of being in Market Street with an afternoon tea party for our wonderful loyal customers and friends. We gave them a little gift bag to thank them for coming. They were so generous and even brought us flowers and cards to congratulate us.
We are so grateful for their regular custom; we love looking after them and giving them the best attention and service. Sophie made a speech thanking them and said it is because of them that we are where we are today.
Our excellent staff Dee, Sam, Nicola and Emma always make sure that the customers leave feeling wonderful and satisfied. All the attendees left feeling very spoilt and happy.”
The afternoon tea party had a wonderfully positive community feel to it and showcased just how popular the salon is with the locals. It was also evident just how close the connection was between staff members and customers.
