Watford World Cup Fan Park is a free, family-friendly event to bring football fever to the town centre ahead of the FIFA Men’s World Cup England vs Panama kick-off.
Watford Town Centre will come alive with football fever this summer as the town hosts a brand-new Watford World Cup Fan Park on Saturday 27 June 2026.
Running from 12:00pm to 10:00pm, the free event will transform The Parade, from L’Artista all the way up to Pondside, into a vibrant celebration of the FIFA World Cup, featuring football activities, family entertainment, a live DJ, drinks, community stalls and interactive experiences for all ages.
Organised by Watford Town Centre BID, the Fan Park has been designed to bring people into the town centre throughout the day while supporting local businesses and creating an exciting build-up to England’s FIFA World Cup group stage match against Panama, which kicks off at 10:00pm.
Visitors can enjoy a range of football-themed activities including kick-up challenges, football pool, mini games and family activities during the day, before the atmosphere shifts into a high-energy England match build-up during the evening with a DJ, competitions and venue promotions.
Importantly, the event will not feature a live outdoor screening of the match. Instead, visitors will be encouraged to enjoy the pre-match atmosphere before heading into one of many participating pubs, bars and venues across the town centre screening the games. The Fan Park will include dedicated family-friendly activity areas, social spaces, community stalls, photo opportunities and outdoor seating, creating an inclusive environment that celebrates the many nations and cultures taking part in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The event forms part of Watford Town Centre BID’s ongoing programme of initiatives designed to drive footfall, increase visitor dwell time and support businesses across both the daytime and evening economy.
